Project name:

Trapped in Hong Kong.

About the Project:

Human relationships in the city are close and intense, leading to a sense of impending turmoil and an inability to break free.

In this intimate yet explosive urban landscape, the fabric of human connections seems suffocating yet inseparable. With its tangled relationships and constant pressures, the bustling city life mirrors the entrapment of rush hour crowds in the metro, leaving little room for contemplation and self-reflection. The intricately woven mesh in the painting echoes the confinement and restriction, highlighting the struggle for personal agency within the web of urban interdependence.

To explore further, I placed the painting into some significant scenes of the city to look for the interaction between human experiences and the urban environment.
